Hemp Oil Boosts Your Pet's Immune System... and Here's How!
Hemp oil contains antioxidants that fight free radicals in your pet’s body. Free radicals are the “bad guys” responsible for lowering our pet’s (and our) immune system. Hemp oil can significantly help keep the free radicals 'at bay.'
The Cause of Free Radicals
What are these ‘bad guys’ from?
- Medications
- Vaccinations
- Pesticides
- Chemicals
- Pollution
- Processed foods
- Commercial dog food
Antioxidants Versus Free Radicals
The free radicals cause damage to your pet’s immune system making it weaker resulting in your dog or cat becoming more susceptible to illness.
They travel around your pet causing damage to cells, DNA, and proteins in the body. They're like little mini monsters in your pet's body searching for areas they can damage.
The antioxidants found in hemp oil help keep the free radicals (AKA ‘the bad guys’) under control.
Antioxidants are also well-known for helping pets live longer by ‘holding up’ the immune system as they age.
Directions and Dosage: Hemp Oil for Pets
You can add our hemp oil to your pet’s food, treats, or administer the oil directly into their mouth. For the best result, use hemp oil consistently up to three doses per day (morning, afternoon, evening).
Be sure to store the oil in a cool, dry area away from the light.
As far as dosage goes:
- 0 to 25 lbs use ¼ dropper (0.25 mL)
- 26 to 55 lbs use 1/2 dropper (0.50 mL)
- 56 to 75 lbs use 3/4 dropper (0.75 mL)
- 75+ lbs use 1 dropper (1.00 mL)
As a general guideline, 5 drops is equivalent to 1/4 dropper (for our product).
There are between 30-120 servings per hemp oil container. Keep in mind, serving size and suggested use is only a guideline. Feel free to speak with an alternative or holistic veterinarian to discuss your individual pet.
